Hair Fair 2023 – Early Access Winners

The winners have been selected from each location. FLickr, Twitter, Instagram and Marketplace. Each of the winners will be contacted in world and they will provide us with the names of two friends to accompany them to early access.

“Due to name elimination when winning in another location, the instagram list ended up shorter than the 10 needed to give prizes. I pooled all remaining names from all locations to find the extras needed.

Hair Fair 2023 – WIN Early Access (you and 2 friends)

Each year, we open Hair Fair a day early for Early Access for both the press and special guests. If you win Early Access, you can experience the event a day earlier than the public and help us support Wigs for Kids even more.

We are offering multiple ways to enter for a chance to win Early Access. You can enter in as many locations as you like (but you can only win once). If you know who you want to go with to Early Access, make sure they enter as well.

We understand that not everyone has access to social media, so we have also included a Marketplace option. To enter using this option, simply purchase the FREE item in the Marketplace. This will allow us to get a record of your name for the entry. It’s that easy!

You do not have to follow the accounts to enter, they are my personal accounts and I am not that exciting the other parts of the year 🙂 but they are often the accounts used to promote Hair Fair so you can if you wish.

Entries will close Sunday evening 11th June. You will be contacted as soon as possible for information on the people you would like to join you, please make sure that each of you has group space, as it will be needed to attend.

10 Winners will be picked from each entry location.

Comment on this post – Leave a comment with your Second Life user name (no display names, it must be your Second Life user name so that you can be contacted in world).

Flickr – Leave a comment with your Second Life user name (no display names, no flickr only names, it must be your Second Life user name so that you can be contacted in world).

Instagram – Leave a comment with your Second Life user name (no display names, no instagram only names, it must be your Second Life user name so that you can be contacted in world).

Twitter – Leave a comment with your Second Life user name (no display names, no twitter handles, it must be your Second Life user name so that you can be contacted in world).

Marketplace – Buy the FREE item – it is just a notecard 🙂 and that will provide us with your Second Life user name in purchase history, we will then use those names as entries for the Marketplace Drawing. Because it will not be a visible list this would be a very anonymous way of entering if you prefer that.

Hair Fair in Second Life

This annual event held inside of Second Life combines the talents of
many hair and hair accessory/props and animation creators. During the
event, they donate a percentage of every purchase made to Wigs for
Kids. Second Life is a virtual world, and purchases made are only
accessible in this environment. However, the hair, accessories, props,
and animations featured at this event are used by Second Life
residents all throughout the year. It is a wonderful experience that
in doing so, they can also help Wigs for Kids.

Here are some of the things you can do at Hair Fair:

– Browse a wide selection of hair and hair accessories from talented creators.
– Purchase items that are only available at Hair Fair for the event duration.
– Donate to Wigs for Kids and help provide wigs for children who have
lost their hair due to medical conditions.
– Meet other Second Life residents and have fun!
– Donate directly to the Hair Fair kiosks located around the event
100% of which is donated to Wigs for Kids.
– Purchase Hair Fair Bandanas and/or Hair Fair Hares that donate 100%
of purchase price to Wigs for Kids.
